A friendly reminder to keep an eye on your mic and stay muted. Glitches happen and we will do our best to support everyone should there be an issue.

Do other universities have universal design committees and does the library have representation on it?
Aneta Kwak
45:10
I have a question about sharing slides with our colleagues. I am the chair of the library teaching and learning committee and I think the group would find these very useful

Somehow I didn't know about Kahoot until recently. Are there any other tools people would recommend for different types of in-class interaction? (Aside from Google slides & docs)

How do you handle faculty resistance re: making notes, slides, recordings, etc. available? Has this been an issue?
Corinne Abba
48:27
hello! this is corinne - a faculty librarian from george brown college, currently seconded to the role of AODA coordinator - one of the things we struggle with is systemic support for faculty to mitigate the impact of time/planning - does anyone have teaching and learning centres that support UDL work?
Gail Driedger
49:31
When we book our library sessions with faculty we always ask about any accomodations that would assist their students. However, we have run into the situation where they don't know yet (they often book early or prior to a semester start). Planning our sessions with UDL is a good pro-active plan.

Hey University of Toronto - how many folks are on your end? Just wanted to keep count for attendance purposes. Is this a group viewing?

The free version only allows a couple of questions, so it's very limiting. We have a subscription at Centennial and it's been very useful.

Have you brought this to anyone higher up to adopt this?

Sharing some resources from uOttawa's Teaching and Learning Support Service. They have a new series on "Diversity and Learning": https://tlss.uottawa.ca/site/diversity-and-learning
